Streamlined is an application students can use while scheduling classes. This application will help them determine how to schedule classes while accounting for their commute and other obligations.

By using this application, students can complete the scheduling process faster and with fewer obstacles, like unnecessary tabs or forms. They can also continue using the application after the scheduling period by saving routes that they use often.

User Persona & Journey Map

Based off the information we had gathered during the research, interview, and observation stages, we created a persona, Helen Spicer. We mapped out her personality and habits based on commonalities from our research participants. We then extended our understanding to create a journey map, drawing from the experiences of our research participants as they interacted with platforms such as Wolverine Access, Atlas, and the LSA Course Guide.

Help students register for a schedule that best suits their commute time.

Function & Usability Goals:

Easily allow students to search up courses or research course descriptions without having to pull up many tabs.

Integrate maps of campuses into their scheduling process.

Allow users to share scheduling information and maps to other individuals, could be interactive.
