About Me!

Hi! I’m Ayla Soofi. I graduated from the University of Michigan’s Stamps School of Art & Design in May 2025. I earned my BFA degree in Art & Design (Graphic Design Focus) and also pursued a minor in User Experience (UX/UI) Design through the School of Information.

Currently, I work as a Junior Visual Designer at Razorfish, where I contribute to creative and visual design work for the Stellantis account.

I'm passionate about shaping my artistic path towards a future in publication, interface, and graphic design. I really enjoy collaborating with others to create accessibility and ease within human-centered designs. I also love learning new skills, and how to blend creativity with functionality to create visual storytelling and deliver aesthetic and intuitive user experiences

What I’m Currently Learning:

Lately, I’ve been diving deeper into web design and learning how to build purposeful visuals for non-profit organizations, including a recent project with the Sanjan Nagar Education Foundation Inc.

Off the screen, I recently got into learning how to sew and how to use a sewing machine. Inspired by RASTAH’s hoodie designs, I thrift fabrics and upcycle them into one-of-a-kind hoodie pieces.

When I’m not designing…

You’ll catch me exploring new cafés and restaurants, hanging out with my dog, collecting keepsakes for my scrapbooks, creating nail art, watching movies, playing tennis, and constantly daydreaming about my next travel adventure!

Check out the places I’ve visited (from study abroad or generally), from a website I coded with HTML and CSS:

Note: there might be a few errors! I completed this project in April 2025
